There are many projects of friendly (educational, cultural and sports) tourism, "open door" farms, health tourism (hipotherapy), herbalism, etc on the area of Slovene Istria around river Dragonja ("Šavrin" Istria)... But primarily, there is a lack of the necessary knowledge and information needed for the implementation and further development of these projects.

Positive results can only be obtained with an effective regional information office, located in the countryside, so that it is accessible to everybody, and through organisation of workshops, meetings, seminars, basic technical assistance and cooperation with experts of diferent skills.
